Logic Renewables Department's MRC certified engineers can help design, deliver and install your biomass heating solution. Biomass is a hot topic in domestic and commercial heating these days as a highly efficient and environmentally friendly alternative to fossil fuels. Biomass is organic material, usually produced from crops or timber waste that absorbed carbon dioxide out of the modern atmosphere while it was growing therefore canceling out any carbon produced during its combustion. Biomass supplied from sustainable sources can maintain the carbon dioxide balance and your home or work premises will be very pleasantly warmed indeed.
Logic can help with your needs analysis and ensure that you get your ideal solution.
Most commonly, wood pellets and logs are used for fuel. Those using wood pellets include a feeder mechanism that takes the correct quantity of fuel from the hopper into the combustion chamber, where a precise mixture of air is introduced, resulting in extremely efficient heat production (usually 89-91 per cent efficiency).
REAL Deposit and Advanced Payment Insurance Scheme
Your deposit is safe with us. All our customer deposits for new Biomass heating systems are insured with the REAL Deposit and Advanced Payment Insurance Scheme.
The insurance cover, provided by Guarantee Protection Insurance Ltd, part of the Kinnell Group, will cover any funds consumers have paid up-front in the event that the member company ceases to trade before delivering and installing the goods. There is no cost to members for taking part in the scheme and the insurance cover is free of charge to consumers. Contact us for more information. All our designs are fully insured too.
Government Incentives
Your investment in renewable energy is an important step in the right direction and the Government aims to reward you with the RHI and RHPP schemes.
Download this RHI Payment calculator on Microsoft XL spreadheet from the Biomass Energy Centre to see. This figure would be approximate and is for guidance purposes only.
In addition, the Green Deal is coming in 2012 to make it even more worthwhile to invest in environmentally friendly heating.
