How Much Will it Cost?

Our local heating engineers are available Monday-Friday between 8am and 5pm, just ring for an estimate and availability. In urgent plumbing emergencies, call us to arrange for repairs to start as soon as possible.
For larger jobs a site visit by our estimator allows us to assess the works required so we can provide you with a quotation to carry out the work. Plumbing and heating estimates are usually non-chargeable, but occasionally incur a charge according to the nature of the work, time and location of your appointment.
Our plumbing and heating estimates are valid for 30 days, and normally sent via email (hard copies can be posted on request). If you decide proceed with the work, any charge made for your estimate will be deducted from the final invoice.

What boiler services do you provide?

Our comprehensive boiler service includes the following:
> Carry out boiler service as per manufacturer instructions (where required)
> Check and adjust for correct gas pressure and flow
> A flue combustion test
> Inspection of your boiler and controls
> Visual check for corrosion and leaks
> Remove and clean the burner (when necessary)
> Check the pilot burner and probes/cables
> Clean the heat exchanger and flue ways (where required)
> Clean out boiler condensate trap (when required)
> Check for correct ventilation
> Check safety devices
> Check the electrical connections
> Run the boiler to check flue effectiveness and functionality
> Run the boiler and check for gas leak

Is there a call out fee?

No, we do not charge a call out fee. We charge hourly rates to hire a heating engineer with a 1 hour minimum and then in 15 minute units.

Does my heating system need a power flush?

Power flushing is a deep clean to make sure your radiators heat up properly and there are no more cold spots. This helps to increase the life of the whole system, keeps heating bills down, and reduces the risk of breakdowns.

What boilers do you install?

We can advise you on the boiler that would be best suited to your heating system and your budget. We offer extended manufacturer warranties of up to 10 years with Worcester Bosch boilers, which include parts and labour for your peace of mind.
